Owner of Peacock House, Jay, reached out to us through our online enquiry form. Having recently purchased a property just outside of Norwich, Jay was interested in letting his home during the time he is working in Saudi Arabia.
We met with Jay to discuss the options and provided a forecast of the properties potential revenue. With Jay moving half way around the world in a matter of weeks, we got to work…
We offered advice on inventory, decor and purchased all bedding, bed linen and towels on the property owners behalf. (We buy quite a lot of the stuff so we can purchase at wholesale prices and pass on to our owners at a lower rate!).
Once the property was ready, we took professional interior and exterior photographs of the house at no extra cost, readying it to be listed on Norfolk Holiday Properties as well as a number of other holiday destination booking sites such as Airbnb.
All of our Owners are different, some are hands on and specify their own pricing and some prefer to sit back and leave it in our capable hands. For Peacock House, we created a dynamic pricing structure from scratch.
We analysed a number of different factors during this process including the property’s amenities, location, local competition, seasonality as well as the property’s running costs to make sure we came up with an attractive structure for both the Owner and their Guests. N.B we constantly monitor pricing for all properties under our management and make tweaks according to demand.
There’s so many things that go into making a successful holiday home. Happily, we have a wealth of knowledge and experience here at Hostberry and with a little thought, organisation and careful execution we have laid the foundations for Peacock House to flourish.
Within a day of making the property available online, we had already taken the first booking! After all, with a with a name like Peacock house it was bound to show off!
Whilst Jay’s flown the nest to Saudi Arabia, he can rest assured knowing Hostberry will keep Peacock House ticking along just fine
